STUDY 1 – Baptized into the Church
LOOK BACK
- How can we pray for each other?

Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
Key Truth: Baptism marks the beginning of life in the church family.
Story to Memorize: Acts 2:36–41
Act it Out: One acts as Peter preaching; others are the crowd, asking “What shall we do?” and then being baptized.
Questions for Discussion:
- What did Peter tell the crowd to do? (Repent and be baptized.) 
- What happened when they obeyed? (They were forgiven, received the Holy Spirit, and joined the church.) 
- How many were baptized that day? (About 3,000.) 
- Who did the baptizing? Believers baptized those who came to faith. 
- Who can baptize new believers? Any baptized believer can baptize a new believer. 
LOOK AHEAD
- Memorize Acts 2:41 
- Who needs to be baptized and by who? 
- When will you do these baptisms? 
- Pass on what you have learned to the disciples you are making. 
- How will you make disciples and start more house churches this week?
