Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.
Act it Out: The group prays together, thanking God and asking for His help.
Questions:
What did the early church do regularly? (Pray.)
Who should we pray with? (Other believers and also alone.)
Why do we pray? (To talk with God, ask for help, pray for our friends who don’t know Jesus and give thanks.)
How can we pray for each other daily?
How can we pray for our friends who don’t follow Jesus daily?
LOOK AHEAD
Memorize Colossians 4:2
Create a list on paper or in your head of friends who don’t know Jesus and pray for them daily.
Pray for those in your house church daily.
Pray for your network leader (if you have one) daily.
Pass on what you have learned to the disciples you are making.
Commission/Pray: Ask God for His power to help make disciples and obey his word.
