Memory Verse: Acts 2:43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.
Key Truth: God shows His power to confirm His message.
Story to Memorize: Acts 2:43
Act it Out: Someone acts sick, another prays, and they are healed; the group responds with awe.
Questions:
Who did the signs and wonders? (The apostles, by God’s power.)
How did people react? (They were filled with awe.)
Why does God do signs? (To confirm His Word and help people believe.)
Do we all have the authority to do signs and wonders and deliver people from demons? (see below) Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
Who needs a miracle? Who will pray for them?
LOOK AHEAD
Memorize Acts 2:43
Pray for healing for someone this week.
Pass on what you have learned to the disciples you are making.
Commission/Pray: Ask God for His power to help make disciples and obey his word.
